FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday Position Summary MultiCare Plastic Surgery offers cosmetic surgical services at its clinic in Tacoma, Washington near Tacoma General Hospital. The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) serves as a key member of the Plastic Surgery team. They are responsible for all aspects of clerical duties assigned by a clinic. Duties include variations of-greeting patients, answering phones, and directing calls, assisting patients/families; scheduling, registration, charge entry, payment posting, batch balancing, cash reconciliation/balancing, operating several types of basic office equipment, etc. They are also responsible for ensuring that appropriate referrals are made to participating providers, with the patient's health plan. The PCC acts as a resource regarding referrals and insurance plans guidelines. The PCC is responsible for coordinating a panel of cosmetic surgery patients and the logistics of their pre-surgery work-up. They serve as the key point of contact for cosmetic patients, keeping them on track and informed at every step leading to surgery.Requirements

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
