What you will be doing
Review and interpret electrical design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Coordinate between civil and electrical work.
- Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and field staff to resolve technical issue.
- Support installation and inspection of electrical systems, including traction power, signaling interfaces, lighting, communications, and auxiliary power system
- Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with design, quality standards, and safety requirement.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders related to electrical scope.
- Assist with procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
- Track progress and provide updates on electrical work to project management.
- Support testing, commissioning, and system integration activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes (NEC, local/state requirements) and project standards
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate across disciplines (civil, track, systems)

What we are looking for
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of experience in construction, transportation, or infrastructure projects
- Experience with rail/transit systems (traction power, signaling, or communications) preferred
- Familiarity with NEC and relevant electrical codes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or document control systems is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT certification; PE license is a plus
- Experience working on design-build or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning processes
