Position Summary The Maintenance Technician I will assist in performing routine maintenance tasks across all The Salvation Army properties in Orange County. This entry-level position supports the overall maintenance and upkeep of facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment. Essential Functions
PAY RATE: $21.00-$22.00/hr. Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Essential Functions Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions promptly and efficiently. Time Management: Efficiently prioritize and complete work orders within specified timelines while managing multiple responsibilities. Interpersonal: Ability to work collaboratively with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders Communication Skills: effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. Experience
Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. (required)
