Position Overview The Senior Manager, Pricing plays a critical role in driving the company's revenue management by developing, implementing, and optimizing pricing processes, systems and execution from modeling through to the customers. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and crossfunctional collaboration with finance and the divisions. The ideal candidate is datadriven, commercially savvy, and comfortable influencing decisions across the organization. Key Responsibilities Pricing Program Execution
- Manage price execution process from divisional price modeling / entry through customer communications
- Mange customer price changes with alignment / approvals across segment and business units
- Manage customer pricing files processing, distribution, receipt and follow-up interactions
- Provide expertise and best practices to divisional pricing analysis on pricing processes.
- Support divisional pricing initiatives for new products, services, and market expansions.
- Monitor pricing performance and recommend adjustments to maximize revenue and margin.
- Manage Staff of 3 pricing personnel to provide high level of service and support
Pricing System / Process Center of Excellence
- Lead the IPS pricing center of excellence (processes systems, SOP's, personnel)
- Lead development and implementation of a harmonized pricing / quoting process and system across the organization.
- Transform pricing operations from fragmented, manual practices into a standardized, data-driven center of excellence.
- Implement tools and processes to improve pricing accuracy, efficiency, velocity and transparency.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Partner with Divisional Pricing analysts, Sales, Finance to ensure harmonized price management and execution.
- Support Sales teams with pricing guidance, deal structures, and discount governance.
- Work closely with Finance to forecast revenue and pricing realization.
Governance & Measurement
- Develop and maintain pricing governance, workflows, controls and audits through partnership with business units.
- Establish pricing policies, approval workflows, and discount guidelines within systems and processes.
- Drive organizational adoption of new pricing processes and tools
- Track KPIs such as price realization, margin performance, pricing loss rates analysis
Market & Competitive Analysis and Price Modeling
- Translate commercial objectives into actionable pricing plans with divisional teams.
- Support ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior.
- In partnership with strategic pricing, design and deploy pricing models and frameworks.
- Identify pricing opportunities and risks based on industry dynamics and economic conditions.
- Provide insights to leadership on pricing impacts and strategic implications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Ability to influence across leaders and act as change agent with deep expertise in pricing strategy, process design, and execution in a complex manufacturing environments.
- Experience building pricing models and conducting financial analysis.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced Degree (MBA or similar)
- Experience with pricing / ERP software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Salesforce CPQ / OMS ++)
- Background in SaaS, manufacturing, retail, or another pricingintensive industry
