LPN, Cardiology Clinic Per Diem

We have an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Cardiology team! Under the direction of the Manager of Clinical Operations, the practical nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. The nurse is responsible for collaborating with other healthcare team members (i.e., MD, PA, NP, RN, cardiology technician, ambulatory care coordinators) to implement the patient's plan of care. The LPN will participate in department Quality Improvement Programs and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of an accredited training program for practical nursing.

• Licensed in the State of Minnesota as a Practical Nurse required.

• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

• Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and collaborate with multiple team members.

• Ability to multitask patient care issues, in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
