What Makes This Role Great

This position offers the unique opportunity to move between advanced lab environments and hands-on field operations, directly operating heavy machinery like tractors and excavators to validate complex plant models. You will play a critical role in the development of next-generation autonomous systems, utilizing high-end data acquisition tools to translate physical machine performance into the digital insights that drive our global innovation.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • System Validation & Regression: Execute comprehensive manuel test plans and procedures across all levels of the system, with a primary focus on on-vehicle field operations and system-level regression testing to ensure peak performance.

  • Software & Feature Testing: Conduct ticket-level software validation and feature testing to support the continuous development of advanced positioning and motion control systems.

  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Safely operate and work alongside heavy off highway equipment to perform tests. You will play a key role in analyzing software functional and performance issues in real-world environments.

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Adhere to rigorous test methodologies to collect vehicle data logs, providing developers with the essential data needed to establish performance baselines and troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Hardware-Software Integration: Utilize lab and bench equipment in an office setting to validate seamless interactions between hardware and software components.

  • Workflow Innovation: Drive continuous improvement in testing workflows, focusing on strategies that bridge the gap between digital modeling and physical-world applications.

  • Specialized Instrumentation: Perform targeted data collection using Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems and third-party instrumentation to meet specific project requirements.
