The Interior Repair Specialist conducts minor repairs to aircraft interiors throughout the cabin, cockpit, and other areas that are not part of a scheduled service. This position also completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. If you are interested in an opportunity to join our SWAT Team, review the Job Description below: S - Survey aircraft interiors W- Write prompt quotes A- Artistically clean, touch up, dye, correct T - Transform appearance and functionality Essential Job Functions 1. With minimal supervision, performs minor aircraft repairs that could include leather chair re-dye, cabinetry hardware adjustments, instrument panel touchups, replacing entry step tread and more. 2. With minimal supervision, surveys and identifies interior preventative maintenance and cosmetic opportunities. Performs minor modifications and recovers flat work and accessories using various fasteners and hand tools. 3. Assists with training team members to develop and enhance their job knowledge and performance. 4. With minimal supervision researches, prepares, and signs off various documents for record keeping purposes as required by Duncan Aviation approved procedures, manufacturers' maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, 8110-3's, and removal sheets, flammability testing, W.O. Sheets, personal training log, and other work order related documents supporting the review squawks and expected hours). 5. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
