The Opportunity with McKinstry The Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a proactive environmental, health, and safety (EHS) program and culture tailored to a medium-volume, high mix fabrication environment. This role focuses on industrial shop-floor safety where welding, cutting, forming, heavy equipment operation, assembly, material handling, and fabricated product movement are daily activities. This role develops and maintains safety programs that prioritize the health and well-being of employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and driving a proactive and engaged safety culture across all levels and geographic sites of the shop network organization. This role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements while embedding a culture of safety into all shop operations. The EHS Manager partners with craft, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to anticipate risks, eliminate hazards, and continuously improve EHS performance to achieve the highest standards of safety excellence. The pay range for this position is $84,240 - $145,200 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
