This is a service-oriented role focused on retaining large customers through preventative maintenance, chemical wet testing, and ongoing upgrade and service work on existing and new chemical feed and monitoring systems.

This position will be working in power plants, including nuclear power plants, so working safely and error-free is a requirement. Associates must consistently demonstrate adherence to site-specific safety, security, and regulatory requirements.

Previous experience in the following areas is preferred: nuclear, power generation, HVAC, chemical feed systems, electrical work, and maintenance.

This position will cover a large geography with roughly 10-20% overnight travel required. Predominantly in the greater Chicagoland area, 2-3 days a week will be in the Rockford, IL area, with the other two days a week in Eastern IA, Southern WI, and Northern IL.

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Representative III where your hands-on skills and customer-first mindset will help shape a more sustainable future. You'll be part of a purpose-driven team that supports water treatment in the power generation industry. You'll work independently in the field, building trusted relationships with customers and delivering solutions that protect vital resources and improve operational performance.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Deliver expert service and support for cooling, boiler, and waste water systems
• Provide technical support and escalate complex challenges as needed
• Build strong relationships with customers and promote best practices
• Ensure full compliance with safety policies and procedures
• Execute required chemistry tests, log, and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accounts
• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plans
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer accounts

Position Details:

• This position's location is flexible; Greater Chicagoland western suburbs is preferred due to location of customers.
• The territory for this position covers a150 mile radiusin Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, and Eastern Iowa
• Targeted accounts are within the heavy industrial and Power industry
• Approximately 10-20% overnight travel

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in water treatment or an industrial/mechanical environment
• Position requires a current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions
• No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Physical Requirements of Position:

• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Exposure to hot, cold, noisy, or dirty environments
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, climbing

• Experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industry
• Familiarity with boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Drive a company vehicle asrequiredto perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed todetermineeligibility to drive a company vehicle)

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $55,200 - $95,400. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
