Your Opportunity: Taylor is looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead a production team in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for driving daily results through strong floor leadership, clear communication, employee development, and a hands-on approach to keeping production, quality, and safety on track. The right person will know how to balance accountability, urgency, and teamwork while helping the operation run smoothly.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive results by leading and coaching others; enforce systems, policies and procedures

  • Develop staff through interviewing, selecting, and training employees and help them develop personal growth opportunities

  • Monitor workflow, observe equipment, and maintain systems that produce high quality and detailed products; help correct malfunctions and foster a spirit of cooperation between departments

  • Work with Team Leads to achieve results by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities for the day and monitoring progress, and reporting results on production summaries

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Your Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday

You Must Have:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly share process changes, expectations, and improvement opportunities with team members and facility leadership
  • Experience leading people in a production, warehouse, manufacturing, or fast-paced operational environment
  • Experience with performance management, including coaching, accountability, employee development, and helping improve team performance
  • Ability to prioritize work, make sound decisions, and keep production moving in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to monitor workflow, identify issues quickly, and take action to keep quality, productivity, and deadlines on track
  • Ability to work across departments and build cooperation between teams to support daily production goals
  • Comfortable being hands-on in the operation and stepping in to support the team as needed
  • Ability to move throughout the facility for up to 8 hours at a time to monitor staff, operations, and operate equipment as needed
  • Ability to occasionally move materials weighing up to 30 pounds

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Minimum of two years of leadership experience
  • Production or warehouse experience
  • Experience in scheduling work, assigning priorities, and tracking daily production results
  • Experience working with quality standards, safety expectations, and process improvement efforts

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $62k - $66k. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
