Job Description




As a Security Officer - Evenings Mon - Fri in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related needs. This role blends technology, customer service, and teamwork while helping maintain a professional environment. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a financial services location.
  • Monitor communication channels, receive and relay routine and urgent information, and coordinate the dispatch of security-related personnel to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details and sharing updates with site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, helping to support timely follow-up, situational awareness, and/or continuity of operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter while remaining available to support dispatch communications, alarm notifications, and other location-specific responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid are preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
