Job Description:
Serve as the Technical Leader overseeing architecture, design, and implement scalable frontend solutions using ReactJS, GraphQL, AWS and TypeScript (Material UI). Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full-time engineers and contractors across the US and Sri Lanka. Ensure the delivery of high-quality code through code reviews, automated tests, and performance tuning. Drive innovation and creative problem-solving approaches to improve product quality and user experience. Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Integrate composition layer APIs using GraphQL and AWS AppSync. Work on Node.js modules to build the composition layer component. Optimize applications for scalability and user experience. Ensure best practices in CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and integration. Implement secure solutions by leveraging AWS services. Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed. Work in an agile team environment. Ensure web applications are compatible on multiple O/S + Browser combinations and accessible and comply with accessibility standards, including WCAG, ARIA. Position is fixed location based in Hoboken office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed. Salary range: $189,592.00 - $194,592.00/yr.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a directly related field plus years seven (7) years of experience in front end development.
Must have six (6) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently): - ReactJS - Javascript - HTML5 and CSS3 - BDD using Jest - CI/CD pipelines, version control and deployment automation using Gitlab - Working with Material UI for UI/UX design systems
Must have four (4) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently): - Implementing accessibility best practices and ensuring compliance with WCAG accessibility standards on axe DevTools - TypeScript - GraphQL - AWS services including S3, Lambda, CloudFront, Cloudwatch, including RUM, Logs, Dashboards, Alarms, and ECS - Feature flags technologies, including LaunchDarkly - Micro-FrontEnd (MFE) development and architecture
Must have three (3) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently): - AWS AppSync
