"Off-scale" salaries, which yield compensation that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions. 1 year with the possibility of Reappointment Application Window Open date: April 24, 2026 Next review date: Friday, May 8, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Sunday, May 24, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Junior/Assistant Specialist will help Nicolas Longuet-Marx in the conduct of several of his research projects in political economy, focusing on the innovation and diffusion of policies across states over time, the drivers of political realignment, and the interaction between labor market factors and political behavior. Tasks will include data collection, data cleaning and processing, and data analysis. Duties will include:
