Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site personnel and visitors with professional communication and customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and routine activity, while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols for the location.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes when appropriate, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or other access activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence, observing site activity, and following established reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
