Overview

LMI is seeking Program Manager to support the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in Washington, DC. We are seeking an energetic self-starter who has expert consulting and customer service skills and is focused on developing practical and efficient solutions to administrative challenges. The Program Manager will lead all aspects of program execution, including strategic planning, staffing, task execution, and budget management, ensuring the successful delivery of all contractual obligations. Acting as the principal point of contact with stakeholders, the Program Manager ensures alignment with program objectives, compliance requirements, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

    Develop and lead program strategy, overseeing the execution of a large-scale federal program and ensuring alignment with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with senior stakeholders and NASA leadership, participating in strategy sessions and resolving escalated issues.
  • Manage the program's integrated operations, including staffing, budget oversight, resource allocation, and milestones/deliverables tracking.
  • Drive compliance with NASA standards, including cybersecurity policies (OCIO guidelines, Section 508) and data privacy regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning across workflows to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, integrate deliverables from subtasks, and manage knowledge transfer across program elements.
  • Provide progress updates, facilitate review sessions, and act as a trusted advisor to the client.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree with 9 years of experience, Bachelor's degree with 11 years of experience.
  • Extensive experience managing complex federal programs, with strong expertise in stakeholder coordination and operational oversight.
  • Proficiency with program management tools such as MS Project and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.

Target salary range: $150,000-$190,000
