Leads clinical transformation and activation readiness across multiple, interdependent go-live phases of the Adams Neurosciences Center to include the associated backfill and bed stack redesign, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care through the design, integration, and execution of clinical and non-clinical workflows. Oversees the clinical aspects of operations and clinical programming working teams; partners with operational, project management, physician/APP leaders and executive leaders to align strategy, resources, milestones, and stakeholder engagement for successful implementation and sustained adoption. Responsibilities
- Oversee SRC Transformation and ANC go-live planning and execution to ensure synergy between operational transformation and facility activation across multiple phases, including new building activation, backfill activation and full execution of the redesigned bed stack.
- Partner with clinical, operational, and project management teams to ensure full implementation and integration of clinical and non-clinical workflows, translating enterprise-wide workflow design into detailed department-level plans and ensuring execution readiness.
- Serve as the clinical project leader for the Operations & Clinical Programming Workstream; set direction, establish workplans, and ensure deliverables align with the overall transformation/activation plan. Take direct lead on several of the workstreams and workgroups as needed to include the Clinical Programming Workgroup. Provide clinical guidance to other PM team members. Work side-by-side with our consultative partners.
- Collaborate with the clinical programming team, PMO leadership and physician leaders to ensure clinical model changes (e.g., scope of services, staffing models, patient flow) are decided and incorporated into activation, training, and go-live plans.
- Identify clinical process improvement opportunities and lead or sponsor initiatives that improve quality, safety, throughput, and staff/patient experience.
- Act as liaison to clinical leaders and key stakeholders to ensure all activities required for go-live have been addressed, risks are mitigated, and the organization is prepared to deliver safe, high-quality care on Day 1.
- Provide executive-level support and coverage as needed, including serving as back-up to the SVP for donor tours, leadership presentations, and leadership oversight of activation and transformation work.
- If a clinician, provide clinical input to the PM team and other workstreams to ensure plans reflect evidence-based practice, regulatory standards, and frontline operational realities.
- Lead change management for assigned transformation initiatives: build leadership alignment, develop structured adoption plans, address resistance, and embed new behaviors and culture.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans; surface needs and concerns, communicate decisions and progress, and coordinate across functions to manage interdependence.
- Manage delivery of a portfolio of workstreams and/or business-critical projects; define scope, milestones, resources, and governance; track progress; and escalate issues for timely resolution.
- Contribute to functional and programming strategy: anticipate complex issues, identify opportunities, and ensure alignment with broader organizational mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives.
- Support business planning and performance management for the project/s, including defining KPIs, quantifying outcomes, and ensuring disciplined reporting and accountability.
- Participate in budgeting and resource planning for transformation and activation activities, ensuring alignment to strategy and effective stewardship of resources.
- Develop, interpret, and implement policies, standards, and operating procedures as needed to support sustained transformation outcomes.
Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree or equivalent level preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Preferred: clinical leader background (e.g., RN, APRN, MD/DO, or other licensed clinician) with demonstrated ability to translate clinical requirements into operational plans.
Qualifications & Experience
- Required: significant leadership experience driving complex, cross-functional transformation and/or clinical operations readiness initiatives in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in project/program management, stakeholder engagement, and change management methodologies.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through matrix reporting, facilitating executive-level decision making, and managing interdependencies across workstreams.
- Budgeting, business planning, and KPI development experience for a function or major program area preferred.
- Extensive collaboration with hospital and health system leaders, academic leaders and external consultants.

- Frequent collaboration with clinical leaders to include physician leaders, operational leaders, PMO, and external partners/vendors as applicable.
- May represent the program in leadership forums, donor tours, and presentations.
