As a Software Development Engineer Intern working in Belvidere, IL, you will be responsible for completing small coding projects under the mentorship of a Software Engineer. Projects will help develop, maintain, or test capabilities of Test and Measurement instruments and will be chosen at the time of the internship.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Complete small projects under the mentorship of a SW Engineer
• Get training on how to use Anritsu software and hardware. Both manually and automated systems.
• Test software before it gets delivered to customer
• Create documentation / user guides
• Write test scripts (usually python)
• Participate in team meetings
• This position will be reporting to the Sr. Manager, Field Applications Engineering.

Requirements:

• Working toward a BS/MS Computer Science/Computer Engineering
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of OOAD/OOP principles
• Basic understanding and comfortable with a programming language like python, java, C++

The annual salary range for this position is $25/hr - $35/hr. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
