What you'll do:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Finance & Operations to help run the finance operating cadence for Marketing investments-driving the rhythms, rigor, and tooling that enable teams to plan, forecast, procure, and report with speed and accuracy. This role sits at the intersection of Marketing leadership, Finance/FP&A, Procurement, Accounting/AP, and Legal/CLM, and is accountable for improving forecast discipline, spend visibility, and end-to-end workflow compliance across Marketing.

Business Partnering

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to Marketing leaders across brand, creative, product marketing, and operations-supporting forecasting, planning, and performance management.
  • Build strong working relationships across FP&A, Procurement, Legal/CLM, Accounting/AP, and systems partners to drive faster resolution of issues and continuous improvement.

Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management

  • Own key components of the marketing budget, including monthly and quarterly forecasting, variance analysis, and identifying risks/opportunities to drive better financial outcomes.
  • Support annual planning and in-year reallocation decisions through structured analysis, scenario modeling, and cross-functional alignment.

Business Analysis & Insights

  • Build and maintain dashboards to track key marketing and financial KPIs; translate complex datasets into actionable insights that inform investment decisions and improve efficiency.
  • Define KPI logic and operating triggers (e.g., burn-rate risks, underspend/overspend flags, forecast accuracy), and drive follow-through with stakeholders.

Reporting & Executive Communication

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting and executive-ready presentations that clearly communicate performance, insights, and recommendations.

Marketing Investment Operations (Vendors, Procurement, Spend Optimization)

  • Partner on evaluation and management of marketing technology and external vendors, including business cases, procurement processes, and ongoing spend optimization.

AI + Automation (Productivity & Scale) (new / emphasized)

  • Bring an analytical, curious mindset to experimenting with AI and automation to improve productivity and scale repeatable processes (e.g., month-end data hygiene, variance narrative support, commentary synthesis, workflow reminders), and translate successful pilots into durable team routines.

Data Integrity & Process Improvement

  • Identify data inconsistencies or gaps, determine root causes, and implement scalable solutions to improve data accuracy, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.

Who you are:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in FP&A, marketing finance, business operations, or a related analytical function (B2B / technology preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience running budgeting/forecasting cadences, building reporting, and supporting close/variance narratives with senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical, high-ownership mindset with ability to solve complex problems through modeling, analysis, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Curious and hands-on with technology-able to scale analysis and processes using Excel, BI tools, and AI capabilities (e.g., building lightweight automations, rapid prototypes, or AI-assisted workflows).
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience driving process adoption/change management across distributed stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of procure-to-pay concepts: contracting/approvals, PR/PO, invoicing, supplier onboarding, and compliance expectations.
