Financial Analyst - Hybrid Schedule

The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing and executing a framework for analyzing the financial performance of the company, including developing reporting to support the budgeting and forecasting processes, developing models/cases to support the budgeting and acquisition due diligence process, and participating in the forecasting and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis

  • Develop and present executive level monthly financial analysis reports
    • Produce monthly sales analysis report
    • Provide analysis on monthly sales and management reporting
    • Provide summarized metrics and data points on financial performance
  • Provide support for channel and product line monthly reporting presentations
  • Provide analysis and reporting on Corporate KPI's and initiatives
  • Maintain tracking for company initiatives, acquisitions and business cases
    • Ensure tools are in place for tracking actual results vs. upfront assumptions
  • Support accounting organization during monthly close cycle
  • Assist with the forecast and annual budget process
    • Prepare corporate assumptions and communicate to business owners
    • Support development of sales templates
    • Maintain multi-year forecast model
  • Provide due diligence and post-acquisition tracking support for acquisitions
  • Provide support for company cost curve and product line yield analysis
  • Provide ideas for improving efficiency and effectiveness of reporting process

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Knowledge & Experience

  • 1+ (One) years working in an analysis or general accounting position required
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel - experience with pivot tables
  • SQL and Power BI experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with financial evaluation methods, financial ratios preferred

Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision to meet deadlines
  • Time and task management skills essential
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented

Work Environment

  • 40-hour work week (hybrid schedule available once training is completed - 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components
