Mid/Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst LOCATION:El Segundo, CA/ LAAB JOB STATUS:Full-time CLEARANCE:TS/SCI TRAVEL:As Needed SALARY: $135,000 - $160,000 Astrion is seeking aJourneyman-level Mission Systems Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Engineerto join our team inEl Segundo, CA to helpreview and process mission information systemsA&A packages for theSpace Force's Space Systems Command (SSC) Satellite Communications & Position, Navigation and Timing(SCPNT)portfolioin accordance with DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Masters's degree in business, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degreerequirement.
- 5-10 Yearsexperience performing similar job duties for theSCPNT Program Element Officers portfolio or another related SSC Program Element Officer highly desired
- Experience or knowledge with MOU/SLAs and RMF Policies to support interconnections and compliance with policy management of the systems
- Excellent and detail-oriented organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework protocols highly desired
- Familiarity withSSC&USSPACECOM A&A procedureshighly desired
- Relevant certification per DoD 8570.01-Mhighly desired
- Advanced-level competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Teams,and Outlookhighly desired
- Required Certifications IAW DoD 8570.01-M.
Clearance:Must have an active and transferrable DoD TS/SCI security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, update, accomplish Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) entries and updates, coordinate and staffA&A packages forSCPNTmission systems
- Maintain, prepare and distributeSCPNTmission systemsA&A schedules and package status reports
- Register namedSCPNTmission systems in ITIPS formerly referred to as the Enterprise Information Technology Database Repository (EITDR) in compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)
- ReviewSCPNTmission systems certification policies, programs, procedures and reports for initial and follow-on system releases, including new and evolving cyber system requirements, and document findings with suggested changes
- AdministerSCPNTmission systems information assurance telecoms andeMASSdatabase updates
- Review and distribute the Information Assurance Strategy and Continuous Monitoring Strategy
- Conduct and document Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) and physical security penetration tests onSCPNTmission systems
- Revalidate information assurance and cyber controls for accreditedSCPNTmission systems, and document findings with suggested changes
- Assess, as required, Higher Headquarters directed changes intheA&Apolicy requirements for their impact on mission system security posture or Risk Management Framework authorized systems
