Building on our past. Ready for the future.
Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Play an integral role in delivering complex, high-impact construction projects across both power generation and digital infrastructure. This is a senior leadership position where your expertise directly shapes execution strategy, project outcomes, and client confidence. You will operate at the intersection of traditional energy and next-generation infrastructure, bringing together simple cycle or combined cycle power construction with large-scale data center delivery.

Purpose of the role

You will be responsible for leading construction execution across one or more complex projects, ensuring safe, on-schedule, and cost-effective delivery in alignment with contractual obligations and customer expectations. This role is accountable for defining program goals, translating strategy into execution, and driving performance across multidisciplinary teams.

You will build deep alignment with customer objectives, anticipate risks, and develop pragmatic solutions that balance technical, commercial, and operational priorities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for construction execution on simple cycle or combined cycle power projects and data center developments
  • Develop, implement, and oversee integrated construction strategies, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead multiple project teams or a single high-impact project, aligning execution with business, production, and organizational priorities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure transparency and trust
  • Interpret contract requirements and ensure all construction activities are compliant with contractual, regulatory, and corporate standards
  • Drive safety performance and foster a culture of zero harm across all construction activities
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring proactive issue resolution
  • Provide strategic input and recommendations to senior leadership and clients based on project insights and performance data
  • Lead, mentor, and develop construction teams, including direct and indirect reports, with accountability for performance management and talent development
  • Oversee resource planning, staffing, and workforce optimization across projects
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of construction systems, processes, and tools

  • Strong project management capability, with a track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget

  • Ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of cost control, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
  • A collaborative, participative leadership style that drives accountability and team performance
  • Proficiency with construction systems, tools, and processes, and the ability to enhance and optimize them
  • A degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience

Feel the energy at Worley with access to a range of benefits including: paid-time off, holiday pay (usually 8 per year in the US), and eligibility to participate in the medical, life, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as 401K plan.
