Location: Remote

Salary: Dependent on experience, the yearly salary is up to $145k a year plus full benefit.

As a Remote Sr. Network Engineer (Fortinet Focused) within Insight's Infrastructure Managed Services team, you will be supporting multiple clients, working on diverse technologies, challenging projects, and be part of the ITSM team responsible for Managed Network incidents, service requests, change, and problem management. Verify contents of shipment compared to shipping documents while noting any discrepancies or damage.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Fortinet network solutions. You will work closely with our clients to understand their network requirements and provide expert guidance on Fortinet products and technologies. Your role will involve troubleshooting network issues, optimizing network performance, and ensuring the security and reliability of network infrastructure.

Lead drafting and creation of procedural and help documentation writing efforts to assist other team members.

Lead drafting support methods and procedures, maintain documentation of networks and network systems, and other knowledge documentation as needed.

Participate in and recommend continual service improvements.

Analyze data to locate high repeat incidents and find solutions to prevent/fix them.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deploy Fortinet network solutions, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.

Configure and manage Fortinet devices to ensure optimal performance and security.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with clients to understand their network needs and provide tailored solutions.

Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.

Stay up to date with the latest Fortinet technologies and industry trends.

Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on Fortinet products.

Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Fortinet products.

Experience with Fortinet Manager, Fortinet Analyzer, BGP Routing, Fortinet Switches, FortiAP, Fortinet FW (FortiGate), Fortinet Firewalls.

Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with network security best practices and protocols.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Fortinet certifications (e.g., NSE4, NSE5, NSE7) are a plus.
