DLZ is seeking bright and motivated Computer Science / IT Interns to join our dynamic team in Columbus, OH. As an intern, you will work alongside DLZ's internal IT and software development professionals to support technology solutions used across our construction, engineering, and project delivery operations. You will face a variety of challenges within your discipline and gain hands-on experience developing, supporting, and enhancing internal applications, data solutions, and automation tools.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Assist with collecting, cleaning, and organizing datasets used for analysis and modeling.
• Support exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and data quality issues.
• Help prepare visualizations, summaries, and basic reports to communicate findings.
• Document analytical processes, assumptions, and findings for internal use.
• Learn foundational concepts in AI, GenAI, Statistics, Machine Learning, and Data Science workflows.
• Participate in team meetings, reviews, and learning sessions to build technical and business knowledge.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code)
• Exposure to Machine Learning concepts through classes or projects
• Demonstrated attention to detail, particularly in compliance- or security-conscious environments
