*Description*
Our client is seeking highly skilled IT Device Support Technicians to support its PC Replacement Refresh initiative. Contractors will assist with end-to-end desktop and laptop replacements, Windows 11 testing, application validation, and frontline desktop support. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work directly with end users in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities -PC Replacement & Technical Support -Perform end-to-end lifecycle replacement of desktops and laptops -Support and execute Windows 11 testing and deployment activities -Conduct application testing to ensure system compatibility and performance -Triages, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues -Support asset management and device inventory processes Customer Support & Communication -Provide timely, professional desktop support to employees -Respond to customer questions and resolve technical issues efficiently -Communicate clearly via email, tickets, and in-person interactions -Schedule device replacements and coordinate on-site visits -Escort travel to device locations as required Stabilization & Training -Provide one-on-one, in-person and virtual end-user training -Offer post-deployment stabilization support -Follow up on unique user requirements or unresolved issues -Document user needs and support activities Collaboration & Process Improvement -Participate in daily stand-up meetings related to the PC Replacement project -Collaborate closely with Seattle IT Client Support Technicians and Asset Management teams -Contribute to continuous process improvement and knowledge sharing -Act as a positive, professional, and customer-focused team member Required Skills & Qualifications -Experience in desktop support, device refresh, or IT service desk environments -Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11 preferred) -Experience with PC/laptop hardware deployment and troubleshooting -Ability to troubleshoot applications and peripheral devices -Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills -Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively -Comfortable working onsite and interacting with users face-to-face *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Preferred Qualifications -Prior experience supporting large-scale PC refresh or migration projects -Experience working in public sector or enterprise IT environments -Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and asset management tools *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
