TEKsystems has a client that is seeking Network Engineers between two sites - Grand Rapids and Lansing, MI Key Responsibilities: Provide engineering backfill and project support for existing architects and network engineers Support network hardware refresh initiatives, including: Switch refreshes across sites Distribution refresh across 12 locations Chassis refresh at West Assist with SDWAN rollouts multiple environments Perform handson work with Cisco network infrastructure, including access, distribution, and chassisbased switches Support firewall platforms (Palo Alto and Cisco Firepower) depending on assignment Work onsite with flexibility to assist across environments as needed Follow standard equipment configurations and operational practices (no deep architecture design required) These roles will provide handson support for hardware refreshes, SDWAN rollouts, and engineering backfill, ensuring network stability and modernization across multiple sites. This is an onsite role with an anticipated start timeframe of June/July, with potential for an additional opening following the holidays.
