Electrician - 2nd Shift

This position pays $35.77 per hour!

We're looking for a full-time, staff Industrial Electrician to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Parsons, Kansas

As the Electrician, here's the work you'll do:

• Installs and connects equipment to wiring systems and tests circuits for continuity and proper connections. Engages in the repair of all electrical equipment.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, repairs, and/ or tests electrical fixtures, motors, apparatus, control equipment and wiring, either energized or inactive, used in the alarm, radio communications, light, or power systems.
• Installs conduits, pulls wire and cables through conduit- conduit installation to include mounting panels and circuit.
• boxes provided service by conduit.
• Installs and terminates wire for all equipment for which electricians will have responsibility to maintain and trouble shoot during operations.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

• NFPA 70E and applicable electrical safety
• Safety awareness and commitment at all times.
• Regularly exercises initiative, independent judgment and discretion in performance of duties.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must be eligible and obtain all applicable government security clearances, as required.

And if you have these qualifications:

• High School and/or equivalent.
• 3 years prior experience
• Valid Driver's License.
• NFPA 70E
