Finance - Analyst Color Operations

The purpose of this position is to provide analysis and administrative support to the Color Operations business unit and the Director of Color Operations. The Financial Analyst is also accountable for processing and reporting financial information in an accurate and timely manner.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

This position is not remote/hybrid and will report to our Global HQ in Cleveland, OH 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with annual Physical Inventory and obsolete inventory reviews for all stock rooms
    • Review and reconcile inventory variances to the general ledger for all stock rooms
    • Manage bi-monthly cycle count process for all stock rooms
    • Serve as the point of contact for inventory questions for field technicians and escalate to supervisor as needed
    • Provide analytical support for annual Budgets
    • Prepare monthly billing reports and inventory entries for supervisor review
    • Review and close monthly work orders
    • Analyze monthly S&Es and reconcile to Budget
    • Process purchase orders for all technicians and store orders
    • Manage inventory receiving and RMA processes for all Color Operations orders
    • Support various Store Operations projects as required by providing data analysis
    • Collaborate with field technicians for feedback and troubleshooting on projects and daily operations
    • Maintain PSG Division Color Operations SharePoint sites with monthly updates on data and projects
    • Assist with various ad hoc reporting for management
    • Responsible for entries associated with $4.6 million in sales, service support and administrative support provided by the Color Operations business unit
    • Assist with department expense analysis and review of vendor invoices associated with $1.2 million in inventory and $146,000 in outsource expenses
    • Investigate and recommend cost savings approaches

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field

Formal Education: (Generally, if relevant experience is acceptable, the candidate must have three years of work experience for every one year of college education required)

  • Minimum of one year of accounting experience
  • Experience identifying and reconciling variances with expenses and/or inventory
  • Previous experience working in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analysis skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Proven adaptability and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage time and resources to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

Preferred:

  • Minimum of one year of PSG Audit experience
  • Working knowledge of paint stores operations
  • Proficiency in Microstrategy, FACTFinder, Oracle OneStream

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
Must be able to lift and carry up to __50__ pounds.
Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.
May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present.
May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
