We are seeking a loving dedicated Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our toddler age children.

Shepherd's Care is a Christian Childcare Center located in Maple Grove, this teaching position requires you to implement the curriculum as well as provide a warm and nurturing environment for children to meet their physical, mental, spiritual, social and emotional needs. Responsible for performing duties in accordance with policies and procedures. Must be pleasant, respectful, and courteous to all children, families, visitors and fellow employees at all times.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Implement daily lesson plans and classroom activities
  • Assist with necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playground
  • Ability to perceive children's needs and respond accordingly
  • Develop positive relationships with children and families
  • Ability to anticipate and diffuse problems and disruptive situations
  • Work effectively in a team
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Lead Teacher qualified through MN Rule 3
  • First Aid and CPR certifications or willing to obtain
  • Loves working and playing with children
  • Ability to communicate sensitive information
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Previous teaching in a licensed early childhood program preferred

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on education and qualifications
