Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and support access control activities. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points, with attention to unusual activity and/or potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and delivery traffic to help to deter unauthorized access, support access control procedures, and/or verify that visitors and vendors follow site requirements.
• Support day-to-day operations by observing equipment, gates, doors, and/or dock areas for security-related concerns, communicating clearly with staff, and completing required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
