DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will participate in a structured 12-month training program that helps you learn how talent management, hiring, and reporting processes support General Government agencies. As a Talent Management Trainee, you will perform the following duties:
- Talent Support: Learn and assist with research, reporting, and daily tasks that support talent acquisition/hiring needs and complement management
- System Use: Work within NEOGOV to help with requisitions, lists, approvals, and steps in the hiring process
- Data Accuracy: Maintain accuracy in PAR information using SAP and other tools
- Information Review: Gather and organize information for pay-related requests and other review needs
- Applicant Processing: Annotate referral lists, move candidates through hiring steps, and support background check coordination
- Collaboration: Work with analysts, supervisors, and HR partners to answer questions and support talent actions
Upon successful completion of the trainee program, you will be promoted to a Human Resource Analyst 1 with an appropriate increase in pay.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $45,907.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree, including 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 15 credits in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
