Remote Type: Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 Job Shift: Job Description: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively collaborates with School of Engineering colleagues
- Facilitates learning activities so that students learn the principles, theory, skills, and work ethic necessary to become proficient in appropriate entry level positions
- Creates a positive learning environment
- Supports monitoring, assessing, and advising of learners on technical and academic progress and performance
- Uses current academic and industry practices in assigned courses of instruction
- Supports the development and upgrade of lesson material and training aids and maintenance of equipment within assigned course of instruction
- Assists in the recruitment and placement of learners
- Participates in industry and/or professional organizations in order to maintain and enhance program health and academic integrity
- Supports the process of maintaining equipment and recommend new equipment purchases within assigned program
- Participates in industry Program Advisory Committee (PAC) to monitor and assess curriculum, budgets, and equipment needs
- Supports curriculum development with School of Engineering programs
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Job Duties
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
- Ability to learn new computer programs and database management systems and demonstrate proficiency given adequate training.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, potential employers and other external constituents.
- Ability to communicate difficult messages in a professional manner.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines.
- Must be goal and team oriented to build positive working relationships, and conduct business with attention to ethical considerations, and school/accreditation guidelines.

- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage competing priorities, and work flexible schedule including select evenings and weekends to meet college business needs.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to adequately read, analyze, and interpret general business communications and relevant regulations/statutes. Ability to effectively write reports, memos, procedures, and other general correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues, students, groups, and the general public in a professional and appropriate manner. Fluency in a language other than English is ideal but not required.

- To perform the job successfully, must have adequate knowledge of and willingness to use specialized software such as PowerCAMPUS, Great Plains, Adobe Products, SolidWorks, PowerFAIDS, Canvas, ticketing systems and/or other databases/electronic aids, in order to be as self-sufficient as possible in day-to-day operations. Use and maintain shared network folders to greatly limit reliance on personally stored items and documents.

QUALIFICATIONS Required
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or closely related major
- 3-7 years recent and relevant of professional technical experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with others in a multidisciplinary academic environment
Preferred Required plus:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, or closely related major,
- P.E. license
- Leadership experience
- Ability to support multiple programs in the School of Engineering
- Teaching experience
- Experience with ABET accreditation
