As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security Clearance in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech location, helping to support a secure environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. This role offers the chance to respond to security-related concerns, provide outstanding customer service, and work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with site post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, employee, and vendor activity in line with site protocols for a fast-paced telecom and data-driven environment.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate relevant information with supervisors, clients, and/or local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
