SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

The Wealth Associate is responsible for supporting Wealth Advisors who manage a book of fiduciary relationships to meet client expectations through the delivery of fiduciary, investment, and depository products. They serve as an additional point of contact to clients and/or as a backup Wealth Advisor. Performs servicing and account maintenance activities, which are primarily trust-related that include SEI transactions, deposits, and transfers.

Administrative/Operations

  • Ensures compliance with all bank policies and procedures as well as state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assists the Wealth Advisor(s) in performing administrative functions, including distributions, account maintenance, ticklers, regulatory reporting, and compliance, etc.
  • Supports the Wealth Advisor(s) with the day-to-day duties and intricacies of account relationships that include:
  • account opening/closing
  • account additions
  • financial transactions
  • questions and complaints
  • asset/cash monitoring
  • fee processing, etc.
  • Assists in risk management.
  • Understands and follows the fiduciary terms of agreement (s).
  • Obtains and maintains current fiduciary information and other critical information necessary to successfully manage relationships.
  • Assists the Wealth Advisor(s) with estate settlement.

Client Service/Fulfillment

  • Maintains knowledge of client relationships.
  • Identifies problems and resolves them effectively and in a timely manner. Ensures problem resolution is performed, especially with the client if necessary. Involves the Wealth Advisor when necessary.
  • Ensures day-to-day fulfillment of client needs to maintain/increase client retention.
  • Initiates client contact to provide proactive, value-added client service.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Education: College Degree or equivalent personal trust experience
  • Experience: Minimum of three years personal trust experience
  • Knowledge: PC proficiency, demonstrated strong communication skills, both oral and written, strong math aptitude.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Participates in Estate Planning/Fiduciary training courses/seminars.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position maybe located in a cubical environment and may be noisy.

Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.

TRAVEL

Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
