Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues, and report findings through required logs, reports, and communication channels.
• Assist with access control, badge or credential verification, and visitor screening processes while maintaining a professional presence and supporting site rules and property procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
