As a Security Officer Access Control in Pittston, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support a professional, welcoming experience for visitors and team members. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity for team members, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate emergency response activities and reporting procedures.
• Monitor gates, doors, docks, and other restricted areas to help support authorized access, document unusual activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access, loss-related activity, and other security-related issues through visible presence and consistent policy enforcement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
