Job Opening: Member Services Specialist
The Missouri Municipal League (MML) is seeking a Member Services Specialist to join our fantastic team. This is an entry-level position offering an excellent opportunity to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Responding to member inquiries on city government topics (training provided)
- Maintaining and enhancing MML’s digital libraries
- Monitoring, tracking, and organizing high-volume public policy information
- Updating website content
- Occasionally assisting team members with ongoing projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Economics, History, Library Science, Political Science or related field (will also consider equivalent local government experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in—and aptitude for—learning the intricacies of Missouri municipal government
- 1–2 years of related work experience preferred
Some travel, including overnight, may be required.
Salary and Benefits:
Starting salary range of $46,000–$52,000, a competitive benefits package and comfortable office setting.
