As a Security Officer Airport Foot Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic government airport location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended property, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, assist with crowd and visitor management, and support orderly operations in a public-facing government transportation location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
