About the Opportunity:
As a Senior Integration & Test Engineer (Level IV/V), you will play a lead role in advancing space-based infrared (IR) imaging systems by driving end-to-end test strategy, execution, and system characterization. You'll work at the intersection of optical, electrical, and software domains, leading technical teams and collaborating directly with customers to deliver high-performance solutions for aerospace missions. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives in complex environments and enjoys combining hands-on testing with technical leadership and strategic impact.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies, including requirements definition, test plans, and detailed procedures
  • Perform imaging system testing and characterization, including optical, spectral, and performance measurements
  • Execute testing in lab and cleanroom environments, diagnosing and resolving issues across electrical, software, and optical systems
  • Analyze and process image and spectral data, delivering clear, accurate reports and insights
  • Develop and maintain MATLAB scripts to automate data analysis and improve testing efficiency
  • Lead AI&T activities and technical teams, supporting task planning, prioritization, and successful program execution
  • Interface directly with customers, delivering technical presentations, status updates, and supporting proposal development, cost estimates, and growth initiatives

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or systems engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of test experience in space and/or aerospace
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with IR technology
What Sets You Apart:
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or systems engineering
  • 10+ years of test experience in space and/or aerospace
  • Experience and understanding of DOD and aerospace test processes
  • Active Secret/Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally as needed
  • Understanding of Imaging System Testing, Characterization, and Image Data Processing
  • Experience with optical measurements
  • Presentation skills
