Torch Technologies is looking for an amazingly talented C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will become a member of the Torch Technologies TEAMS NEXT support staff, with primary work assignments supporting the Missile Defense Agency's Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. This position requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes, including cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.

As C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst, duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding

  • Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists

  • Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration

  • Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners

  • Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders

  • Support and interact daily with senior DoD officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), working on-site with the DoD Program Office and delivering products in a fast-paced, on-demand environment

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience,

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Knowledge of acquisition processes required to evaluate contract performance against program baselines

  • Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements

  • Ability to work independently or lead cross-functional teams to complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS

  • Experience in cost, schedule, and performance management for a space-based program and/or DoD program

  • Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and key acquisition documentation to support approval and execution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of relevant experience, or

  • Master's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience

  • Prior MDA experience

Schedule: M-F; 8-5

Work Location: Schriever SFB, Colorado

Travel: 0-10%

Salary Range - Colorado: $120,000-130,000

The salary range information is a general guideline only. Several factors can influence the salary for a position including but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates,geographic location, business considerations, scope and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
