Overview The VNS Health Nurse Residency Program is designed to empower recent RN graduates with hands-on clinical experience and training to develop the next generation of expert home care clinicians. This two-year, full time, hybrid training program for RNs with minimal or no clinical experience combines in-depth classroom instruction delivered in-person and virtually, a caseload of patient visits guided by preceptor supervision, and mentorship from our esteemed nurse educators. Shadow RNs to gain field experience. Reviews experiences in group debriefs. Practice in the community with a preceptor as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Deliver personalized nursing and care management to patients in their home or care facilities. Constantly evaluate evolving patient needs and respond with plan of care adjustments. Achieve continued professional growth through attendance at in-services, training, continued formal education and select journal readership. Qualifications Recently received RN license Degree in Nursing from an approved program required No prior work experience in nursing required Must be able to walk up and down steps to access patient residences Pay Range USD $107,047.00 - USD $140,822.00 /Yr.
