Full Stack Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Minneapolis, MN. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will consult on complex software engineering initiatives. The position involves application support, data engineering, and modernization work, with a strong focus on migrating SSIS ETL pipelines to Apache Spark (Spark Flow). You will support a portfolio of approximately 15 enterprise applications and data platforms while also navigating data center migration impacts.

Responsibilities:

• Migrate SSIS ETL pipelines to Apache Spark (Spark Flow)
• Support data lake processes including data ingestion, file handling, and access management
• Provide application support for multiple systems (troubleshooting, enhancements, stability)
• Assist with data center migration impacts across applications
• Build and maintain APIs using .NET and Python (FastAPI)
• Develop and support frontend components in React and Angular
• Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Work in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
• Experience with Apache Spark / Spark Flow (critical)
• Experience with SSIS or similar ETL tools
• .NET (C#) development experience
• Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, and REST APIs
• Strong experience with SQL Server
• Frontend development experience with React and/or Angular
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with containerized environments, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong team collaboration skills in a non-siloed environment

• Data lake or large-scale migration experience

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
