Summary:

This Lead Pre-Analytic role is a key frontline leadership position that represents the organization across all patient care settings. Serving as a liaison between team members, providers, and patients. This role performs and oversees critical pre-analytical functions including phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, specialty testing, order entry, waived testing, quality control, and specialty collections.

In addition to technical responsibilities, the Lead Pre-Analytic monitors workflow efficiency, helps resolve operational concerns, supports team performance, and serves as a primary resource for onboarding and orienting new team members. This position provides an opportunity to expand leadership skills, share expertise, and play an integral role in delivering exceptional patient care and quality laboratory services.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED required.
2. License/Certifications: PBT/MLA from the ASCP, AMT, or NHA preferred. Valid Driver's License required.
3. Experience: One year of experience in Phlebotomy and Specimen Management required. One year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant preferred.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: May be asked to work at other sites/locations as needed.

The pay range for this position is $20.68to $25.10 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
