Position Overview:

The Blue Skies
Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the facility to deliver an exceptional banking experience that fosters lasting relationships. This role
executes strategic direction for Retail within the facility, maximizing the
delivery of all capabilities of Broadway Bank to customers. The position is
responsible for maintaining and growing the established book of business while
proactively sourcing new business from future residents and staff.
Opportunities will be sought to introduce and engage line-of-business partners
to deepen relationships. Oversight of satellite offices, where applicable, is
also included.

Essential Functions:

  • Leverage
    available data resources (e.g., B360, Client Reports, Household trends) to
    optimize client potential and meet or exceed established goals.
  • Coordinate
    sales and service activities with the Area Sales and Service Executive and
    Specialist partners to implement effective target strategies within
    military communities served.
  • Perform
    outbound wellness calls to the assigned book of business, engaging in
    community service and civic involvement to ensure a satisfactory return on
    investment aligned with target sales and service strategies.
  • Ensure the
    facility is aligned with the bank's cultural standards.
  • Coach, mentor,
    and observe team members to enhance the effective delivery of financial
    center objectives.
  • Maintain a
    strong working knowledge of the bank's comprehensive product and service
    offerings to effectively source opportunities across all lines of
    business.
  • Manage sales
    campaigns and strategies, leveraging individual team member strengths to
    maximize overall results.
  • Establish and
    uphold service standards to consistently deliver excellent customer
    experiences.
  • Directly
    supervise the financial center team, including interviewing, hiring,
    conducting performance evaluations, and managing corrective actions.
  • Ensure
    appropriate ADP attendance and time management and maintain staffing in
    accordance with the target model.
  • Oversee weekly
    and vacation schedules to ensure adequate staffing and consistent
    maintenance of customer service standards.
  • Provide
    guidance to team members for above-limit transactions (e.g., wire
    transfers, check cashing, deposit acceptance).
  • Ensure timely
    completion of mandatory compliance training by all employees.
  • Facilitate the
    accurate completion of assigned audit duties, maintaining proper controls.
  • Ensure
    adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Comply with the provisions of Issuance of Access Credentials to Contractors, Vendors and Civilians Requiring Routine Official Installation Access, Requesting Authority for DBIDS Access Card.
  • Serve as a liaison between Broadway Bank and any of the following entities: Bank Military Liaison Officer on JBSA, AMBA (Association of Military Bank of America) Program Manager, AMBA President and CEO, BAMC Security Force, ARC Community Center Personnel, US Treasury, Blue Skies East and Blue Skies West.
  • Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to uphold expected levels of quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure the
    operational integrity and appearance of the facilities, reporting issues
    promptly.
  • Perform other
    duties as assigned by Area Sales and Service Executive.
  • This position may require travel within the Bank's geographic area.
  • Must be able to work onsite, as working remotely is not an option for this position.


Experience & Education:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial institutions, preferably in leadership roles.
  • Proven sales management expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of financial center operations.
  • High School diploma required; a four-year college degree is preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Register and maintain registry as a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and Registry and in accordance with the Secure and Fair enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (the S.A.F.E. Act).
  • Meet and maintain financial responsibility, character and general fitness standards along with established requirements for an individual Loan Originator in accordance with Regulation Z.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as 10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
  • Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required.
