The Legal Intake Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Corporate Legal department by managing and triaging a high volume legal intake function. This role provides essential operational coverage, helps mitigate compliance and continuity risk, and ensures timely, accurate routing of legal requests across the organization. The Legal Intake Assistant will work closely with the primary intake lead and legal stakeholders to maintain a responsive, scalable, and well controlled intake process.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and co-manage the Legal Intake inbox
  • Triage incoming legal requests and route matters to the appropriate legal staff
  • Prioritize requests, identify time sensitive or high risk issues, and escalate as needed
  • Enter and track requests accurately in legal intake and workflow systems
  • Maintain intake logs and documentation for reporting, audit, and compliance purposes
  • Provide consistent, professional email responses to internal business partners
  • Perform document preparation and general legal administrative support
  • Ensure intake coverage during PTO, training periods, and peak workload times
  • Support cross training, process improvement, and workload continuity within the Legal Intake function

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal administration role
  • Experience supporting high volume legal or professional services intake functions
  • Proven solid organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proven high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with email management and organization
  • Experience or proficiency with Computershare, GEMS, LexisNexis, iManage, TyMetrix 360, Microsoft Productivity and collaboration tools, including MicroSoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
