Warehouse Associate Glendale Heights, IL Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour 26-04951 Job Summary The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations in a customer-facing, non-distribution environment. The role involves manually picking and staging mixed-size orders, receiving and stocking materials, and assisting walk-in customers at the will call counter. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy with part numbers and bin locations, and the ability to work in a hands-on warehouse setting that combines order fulfillment and customer service. Job Responsibilities Manually pick customer and internal orders using hands, carts, ladders, and order pickers Accurately pull, verify, and stage orders by part number and bin location Assist walk-in customers at the will call counter, including locating items and loading orders into vehicles Receive inbound materials, verify shipments, and place items into correct warehouse locations Prepare and process outbound UPS and LTL shipments Operate an order picker at heights up to 20 feet as needed Support stocking, inventory accuracy, and general warehouse organization Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times Occasionally operate a forklift when required Job Requirements Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience required Experience manually pulling orders using hands, carts, ladders, or order pickers required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Strong attention to detail when working with part numbers and bin locations Comfortable assisting customers in a face-to-face environment Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet Ability to work efficiently in a hands-on, task-driven environment Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy without the use of RF scanners Work Experience Experience in warehouse operations including order picking, stocking, receiving, and inventory management preferred Experience in customer-facing warehouse, retail, or will call environments is highly beneficial Experience with forklift or order picker equipment is a plus About Equiliem Equiliem believes in empowering success.
