The Position

As Branch Manager, you'll have full responsibility for all branch operations, reporting directly to the Regional VP. This is a hands-on role where you'll oversee teams in the warehouse and at job sites, while also managing the administrative side of operations.

We're looking for someone with:

Strong leadership and communication skills

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment

At least 1 year of management experience in a furniture distribution center

What You'll Do

• Manage warehouse team members, overseeing order picking, preparation, and furniture quality inspections
• Oversee drivers and assist at delivery locations to ensure smooth delivery and installation processes
• Interact with customers on-site to confirm accurate furniture placement
• Ensure OSHA and safety compliance across branch operations
• Schedule manpower according to workload and manage overtime and temporary labor
• Track and manage warehouse expenses and labor within budget
• Coordinate inbound/outbound orders, transfers, and shuttles between locations
• Route trucks for daily deliveries and pick-ups
• Participate in Sales and Operations calls
• Conduct performance reviews, manage time-off requests, and oversee staffing needs

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years warehouse experience
• Previous management experience in a Special Event, Tradeshow, or Party Rental distribution center environment

Skills & Requirements

• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills (negotiation skills a plus)
• Leadership, delegation, and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office; NAV software experience a plus
• Reliable transportation to/from the warehouse

Physical & Mental Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, crouch, and be physically active for extended periods
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds
• Ability to perform simple tasks, rational thinking, and numerical calculations
