Aircraft Component Repair Technician 1 - Structuresin GAC Savannah Unique Skills: We are seeking a Structural Aircraft Technician I (Entry-Level) to support maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft structures in an MRO environment under close supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with interpreting technical data such as the Aircraft Structural Repair Manual (SRM) and Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), performing basic drilling and fastener installation/removal, supporting fabrication and fit-up of simple structural components, and assisting with corrosion removal, surface prep, and sealant application. The ideal candidate demonstrates mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn while following all quality, safety, and airworthiness standards. Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Must possess basic understanding of shop math. Sheetmetal (production and/or fabrication) and/or hydraulic overhaul experience preferred.. Basic knowledge and experience with electrical theory and wiring preferred..
