Job Overview:
This position will report into CClient's North America Supply Chain and Logistics service unit. This position is responsible for full stack development within the Client's Center of Excellence Digital Transformation Team. This position works directly with IT, Digital Team Project Managers, and the support groups that make up the Supply Chain. This position will be responsible for creating scalable solutions for a wide range of business needs emerging from Client's Plants, Warehouses, Logistics, Customer Solutions, Credit and International Trade and Compliance & Transportation teams using Amazon Web Services. In addition, this position will also be responsible for application performance, uptime, reliability, and upkeep.

This position will advise and education the Digital development team on technologies to get them more proficient with their technical skill set.
This position will be Pittsburgh based and be required to be in the office a minimum of 3 work days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
* Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
* Work primarily in Client recommended and supported software suite
* Engage with technical project managers and key internal stakeholders across various groups
* Ensure strong documentation via GitHub and other documentation tools

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. AWS CloudFormation, Terraform or similar infrastructure as code experience
2. Javascript front end coding or other similar languages with secondhand experience of AI assisted coding
3. Python experience
4. SQL database experience (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
5. CI/CD experience preferably with GitHub actions or GitLab runner
6. Understanding of networks for applications (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, DMZs, etc.)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate & work with a cross function of technical as well as supply chain personnel.
2. Ability to take on various projects simultaneously.
3. Ability to explain to & educate co-workers on technical details.
4. Schedule flexibility to days in the office.
