Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The primary purpose of the Aviation Science Program is to provide quality aviation education to a diverse group of students so that they will be successful in the highly competitive aviation and aerospace industries.
Description of Work
The primary purpose of the position is to manage the day-to-day operations of the flight training program, teach flight and ground courses, provide student academic advisement, and aid in the recruitment of students.
Competencies/Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Required in this Position
A certified FAA flight instructor with airplane, multi-engine and instrument ratings, 500 hours of dual given, current FAA medical and instrument.

Experience with FAA Part 141 approved schools.
Minimum Training and Experience
A Master's degree is required.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
Management Preferences
Master's degree in Aviation or a doctorate in a related field.
