Role Overview:
VersAbility Resources is seeking a passionate and engaging Professional Development Instructor to support participants in our VersAbility TECH workforce development programs. This role provides workplace readiness training, professional development instruction, and individualized coaching to help neurodiverse and disabled individuals build confidence, strengthen employability skills, and prepare for meaningful employment opportunities. The Professional Development Instructor plays an important role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes growth, independence, and career success.

What You'll Do:
*Develop and deliver professional development curriculum tailored to neurodiverse participants
*Facilitate workshops on resume writing, interview preparation, communication skills, workplace etiquette, and career readiness
*Provide one-on-one coaching and individual support to participants
*Collaborate with instructors and program staff to integrate professional development into technical training
*Monitor participant progress and provide ongoing feedback and guidance
*Maintain and update instructional materials, presentations, and training resources
*Create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
*Support participant confidence, independence, and workplace success
*Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in education, Human Resources, or related field required; Master's preferred
*Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional development training, education, coaching, or workforce development
*Experience working with neurodiverse individuals or diverse learning populations strongly preferred
*Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
*Ability to adapt instruction to multiple learning styles and participant needs
*Strong organizational and time management skills
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, Canvas, or other learning management systems (LMS)
*Valid driver's license required

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
This role operates in classroom, training, office, and community-based environments. The position requires frequent interaction with participants, staff, and stakeholders and includes both group instruction and one-on-one coaching.

Responsibilities may include standing for extended periods, movement between training locations, and lifting instructional materials up to 25 lbs. Occasional local travel may be required.

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm.
